“Words cannot express our gratitude to your organisation. I have enjoyed 8 weeks of consecutive Friday mornings with a lovely volunteer. She was so helpful, she went with me to do my shopping and she was so helpful and patient as we wandered up and down the aisles in the supermarket. Afterwards we had a welcome lunch in the cafe before returning home to give my husband his dinner. He has much improved since coming out of hospital. Once again please convey our heartfelt thanks and affectionate regards to our wonderful volunteer who has proved to be such a rock in our hours of need.” Mr & Mrs C
“I just want to say thank you for the service I have had. I would recommend anybody to have this service as it has been such a big help to me. Thanks for helping me by staying in contact with me after my operation. Being on your own, it was so nice to have someone to talk to on the phone. With my thanks.” Mrs C
“I could not have had better treatment or been treated with more respect anywhere. I was made to feel very special and I am so grateful. Thank you for the care I received and this wonderful organisation which brings peace of mind and healing and comfort. It is a great comfort to know there is such a wonderful scheme such as the Home From Hospital, that you can call on particularly at a vulnerable stage of your recovery. The volunteer was wonderful company and was most willing to do my shopping on her way to visit, along with other small tasks. Also thank you for the other services that the scheme offers help with such as carers’ needs. I cannot praise them enough.
Thanks for the help and support that the volunteer gave me. It was a pleasure to have his friendly visits.” E P
“I think this service is very important to the Community especially for the elderly like me who live on their own, and need help with T. Ed Stockings. The volunteer was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Well done. The service provided was excellent in every way. I would like to thank the volunteer for the care and support they have given me over the past weeks.” Mr M A
