Headlight Project

Lifting the spirits of those affected by loneliness, isolation or vulnerability

The Headlight project is designed to lift the spirits of those who have experienced major life changes or loss, which have impacted their health and social connections, leaving them feeling isolated or vulnerable, with poor mental health or mental wellbeing. We offer a range of shared activities and information, designed to support and reinforce positive mental wellbeing by raising participants’ self-esteem, developing their skills and expanding their social network.

We do this by offering a variety of different forms of entertainment and information to suit a wide range of tastes including:

  • musical entertainment
  • book clubs
  • bake-offs
  • conversation
  • and much more

The Headlight Project offers the people of Hull help in numerous ways including:

  • coping with Mental Health issues
  • addressing the First Aid of Mental Health
  • tips on how to deal with the struggles in and around the home.
